CARD PAYMENT UPDATE – FROM TODAY, 1 OCTOBER 2026

New card surcharging rules come into effect today.

Businesses can no longer pass on the bank’s surcharge to customers who choose to pay by card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The banks still receive their card processing fee — it is now paid in full by us.

We’ve decided not to increase our fees across the board to cover this additional cost to our business, as we don’t think it’s fair for clients who don’t pay by card to have their fees increased.
We will absorb this extra cost for as long as we can.

We’d really appreciate it if you could pay your invoice by an alternative payment method to card, where possible.
