💰 Payday Super is Coming – Are You Ready?
A major change to superannuation obligations is on the horizon for Australian employers.
From 1 July 2026, the proposed Payday Super reforms will require employers to pay Super Guarantee contributions at the same time as wages are paid, rather than quarterly.
What does this mean for your business?
✔️ More frequent super payments
✔️ Changes to payroll and cash flow management
✔️ Greater visibility of employee super contributions
✔️ Reduced risk of unpaid or late super accumulating
While many businesses already have strong payroll processes in place, now is the time to review your systems and ensure you're prepared for the transition.
Not sure how Payday Super will affect your business? Knight Business Services can help you understand the changes and get your processes ready.

📢 Payday Super Is Coming (1 July 2026)
Big change ahead for employers .If you’re used to paying super quarterly, this change will affect you.
From 1 July 2026, super will need to be paid at the same time as wages. The current quarterly payment system will be removed.
What this means for you:
• Super paid every pay run
• No more quarterly catch-ups
• Late payments could trigger penalties much sooner
For many businesses, this is more than a compliance update — it’s a cash flow and payroll process change.
If you currently pay super quarterly or use manual payroll, it’s worth reviewing your systems now.
If you'd like to talk through how this will impact your business, contact us on (03) 9850 1953 to organise a time to chat.
