PAYDAY SUPER IS COMING

From 1 July 2026, the ATO is introducing Payday Super, a major change requiring employers to pay superannuation at the same time as wages, replacing the current quarterly payment system.

The new changes mean that employers will have seven days for an employee's SG to be received by their super fund.

The changes will also affect super accrued during the April to June quarter. Any contributions made from 1 July 2026 will be allocated to the oldest outstanding amount. This could mean that contributions intended for pay runs after 1 July 2026 may end up allocated to the prior period resulting in late payments on their July obligations.

While it may seem like a small change, it could have a significant impact on your cashflow, payroll processes and day-to-day administration for many businesses.

March was a busy month full of meaningful moments for our team!

We were incredibly honoured to celebrate the wedding of our own Lara and Tom — a truly beautiful and special occasion that meant so much to share together. ❤️

We also took part in the Friends of Palliative Care annual walk, one of our favourite events each year. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to support such an important cause in our community. 🦋

To round out the month, Allison, Christie and Lara attended the Women in Business Luncheon, where the theme of Courage left us feeling inspired and empowered — especially hearing from Kim Payne 🌸

A wonderful reminder of the strength found in connection, community, celebrating one another, and genuinely enjoying the people you work with.
