The Adding Value CFO has now turned 10 years old!

Adding Value CFO has been a little quiet on socials lately, but there has been a lot happening behind the scenes.

We have been moving offices, refreshing our business model, and creating a new brand under the business — Adding Value Balanced Accounting. We we will still be completing CFO work, BAS service, budgets, forecasts, training and mentoring under Adding Value CFO banner but a new banner emerges....

This new direction brings together so many parts of my journey: accounting, CFO advisory, sustainability, my recent Climate-Related Disclosures Certificate through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and my growing focus on Environmental Management Accounting — EMA.

EMA is about helping business owners use their numbers in a more meaningful way — to better understand financial performance, environmental impact, and the decisions that shape the future of their business.

Many of you also know I’ve been studying Japanese for some time now. That has become part of the bigger picture for me too, especially with Darwin’s growing connection to business, sustainability and opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region.
