Working from home??
The ATO have changed the rules for claiming Working from Home (WFH) deductions from 1 March 2023 using the fixed rate per hour method.
Prior to this date you could provide an estimate of your hours worked, from 1 March 2023 you need to provide a record of all hours worked from home for the entire period.
Your record of hours worked must be kept as they occur (eg. timesheets, log book of time, or diary).
So make sure that you start recording your WFH hours on a daily basis from now on.
