🏉 A great morning at Ikon Park today for the Carlton AFLW VIP Training Experience!

We got to watch the AFLW team in action at an exclusive training session, and then caught up over coffee at the 1864 Café.

It was lovely to catch up with Brooke Vickers and Ciara Fitzgerald, our sponsored AFLW players, and hear how their season is going!

Thanks to Carlton Football Club for a fantastic morning! 💙

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has extended the transition period for credit card payments, giving taxpayers until 30 June 2027 to prepare for the upcoming changes.

For businesses that regularly use credit cards to manage tax payments, this provides additional time to review payment arrangements and consider any potential impact on cash flow.

We've outlined what the changes mean in our latest blog post.

At Lark, relationships come first, and we want every client to feel that in the way we work with them.

Julie, our Client Care Coordinator, plays an important role in making that happen. She helps ensure clients feel supported, know who to turn to and have a smooth experience with our team.

That starts with listening to each client and understanding what matters most to them, so we can shape their experience around their needs.

We enjoyed attending the Qamba Executive Circle last week, where the conversation turned to AI in the workplace.

It was great to hear different perspectives, including those from people taking a more cautious approach. There’s a lot to consider as businesses figure out where AI can genuinely add value, and which tasks are still better handled by the people on your team.

Thanks to the Qamba team for a great session!

An excellent evening at the John Nicholls Medal at Crown Palladium on Sunday!

Sally and Eric also had the wonderful opportunity to meet and chat with Carlton’s senior coach, Josh Fraser.

It’s always great to attend these events and chat about footy, business and everything in between!

The Grand Final celebrations continued last week with a post-Grand Final lunch hosted by the Roaring Forties Club in the Grand Ballroom at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.

A true standout event and a great way to round out the week, with an incredible lineup of guest speakers.

It was great to meet and chat with AFL legends Kevin Sheedy and Terry Daniher!

A huge thanks to Mason Allamby and Steve Collins from LGT Wealth Management for the invitation.

It’s not the end of the footy season just yet, with the AFLW still in full swing and finals coming up in November!

We had a great time attending the Carlton Respects AFLW game at IKON Park this week, watching Carlton take on Hawthorn alongside fellow Carlton IN Business members.

This year marks 10 years of Carlton Respects, an important initiative that champions gender equality and helps prevent violence against women.

It was also great to catch up with Ciara Fitzgerald, the second Carlton AFLW player we’re proud to sponsor. And great to see the players warm up with their pre-game dance!

Thanks to Carlton IN Business for having us!

☀️ MATCH Alliance's Stride & Shine is back for another season!

Always a great way to start the day, with a walk around The Tan and plenty of good conversation before the workday begins.

One final event before we head into AFL Grand Final weekend!

This afternoon, Eric and Sally attended the Carlton IN Business Grand Final Eve Lunch at Crown. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and hear from Tom Mitchell, Libby Birch and Travis Boak.

A brilliant afternoon celebrating the footy with a fantastic business community. Now, bring on the Grand Final on Saturday!

🏉 Footy fever at the Lark office!

We’ve had some fun this week, dressing in our team colours, enjoying a few classic footy snacks and getting a visit from our client and former Carlton player, Kevin Hall.

Now, it’s onto the Grand Final this weekend!

P.S. A reminder to our interstate clients that tomorrow is a public holiday in Victoria, so our office will be closed. We’ll be back on Monday!
