Recently, one of our senior auditors from MGI Adelaide went on a secondment to Brisbane to work with the team at MGI South Qld. Here is what Joanna had to say about her experience:

“I recently had the opportunity to go on a secondment to the South Queensland office for two weeks to work with the audit team on various clients during their interim audit. The team was really welcoming, and I had the opportunity to join them for a few lunches and coffee. I also got to explore a bit of the city during my evenings and weekends, which was really exciting! It was great to be back in Brisbane again after having attended the MGI Australasia Future Leaders Conference there earlier this year. I learnt so much through the experience, but the one main takeaway I had was exposure to new working practices and processes which boosted my confidence and increased my ability to adapt to change. I am really grateful to MGI Adelaide and MGI South Queensland for the opportunity!”

: Earlier this year, we had an incredible opportunity to learn from Cameron Schwab, CEO of designCEO and former CEO of Melbourne Football Club, Fremantle Dockers and Richmond Football Club at the 2024 MGI Australasia Conference.

Cameron spoke to us about leadership and managing our time and energy. During his talk, he showed us the power of vulnerability as a leader.

We were honoured to hear Cameron speak at the conference and during our closing dinner in the MCC Committee Room at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

His presentation left a remarkable impact on attendees, many of whom were speechless and deeply reflective after his talk.

What a way to end the 2023/2024 FY!

We have had an amazing 12 months at MGI Australasia.

We saw another round of graduates finish the MGI Australasia Graduate Academy and welcomed new graduates into the program for 2024. We had our Tax Seminar in Adelaide, our Leaders Conference in Melbourne, our Future Leaders Conference in Brisbane, our MGI Australasia Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation in Melbourne and our global conference in Bangkok.

Our sub-committees have met, shared knowledge, engaged in group projects, supported one another and inspired each other. We've seen people travel across the country on secondments. We've had retreats, volunteering days, community engagement opportunities, team-building days and more. We've empowered women around Australia through our Success Her Way program.

And to top it all off, we were named Network of the Year for 2024! 🎉

Wow!

We are so grateful to our entire team for everything they do that contributes to our award-winning network. We are committed to supporting our firms in their journey to Success Your Way for their clients and teams alike.
