For our next '๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐' event, weโre joined by ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฎ, who will share her personal experience of navigating the financial and emotional realities of being pulled in different directions.
Weโll talk openly about the decisions, pressures, and conversations that come with caring across generations, and how to make sure your own needs donโt get lost somewhere in the middle.

Esther Althaus and Jesse Elaluf are back from the MDRT Global Conference 2026 in Sydney, full of fresh ideas and inspiration.
It was Jesseโs first MDRT conference, while Esther has been part of the association for many years. They spent a few days learning from speakers and advisers from around the world, sharing ideas and thinking about how we can continue to do better for our clients.
One analogy we heard and loved:
Just as you might see a physio for pain in one area and discover the cause lies somewhere else, the same can be true of financial concerns.
Sometimes the question a client comes to us with is only part of the picture. By listening, asking the right questions and looking more broadly, we can better understand whatโs really going on, and what they ultimately want to achieve.
Thatโs something we continue to focus on at Perspective: seeing the bigger picture, understanding what truly matters to you, and building advice around it.
A great few days in Sydney, with lots to bring back to the team and our clients!

We hosted our first ๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ event.
A big thank you to Sarah Tatarka for sharing her experience following the sudden loss of her husband with such honesty, courage and vulnerability.
The conversations continued after the event, with many women staying to connect and share their own experiences. It's a powerful reminder of why creating spaces like this matters.
We truly believe that behind every financial decision is a human story. We're looking forward to continuing these conversations and welcoming more women to share theirs.

At Perspective, we've learnt that some of the most important conversations about money aren't about markets or numbers, they're about life.
Join us for a new storytelling series that brings women together to hear honest experiences of how significant life events have shaped financial decision-making, confidence and responsibility.
In conversation with Esther Althaus, Sarah Tatarka, will share her experience navigating finances after the sudden loss of her husband.
We hope to reduce the stigma around talking about money and remind women that they're not alone.

After more than two decades in financial advice, Esther Althaus has seen how the conversation around women and wealth has evolved, and where there's still room to grow.
She recently joined Riddhima Talwani on the Financial Standard podcast to discuss some of the unique considerations women face when building wealth, and why there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.
Thank you to Riddy and the Financial Standard team for these necessary conversations.
Listen to the episode below. If it sparks any questions, we'd love to hear from you. And if you're looking for a speaker on these topics, feel free to reach out to Esther or the Perspective team - [email protected].
