The Federal Government is introducing Payday Super, which will change how and when employers pay their employees’ superannuation.

From 1 July 2026, employers will be required to pay super at the same time as salary and wages on each payday. Super contributions will need to be received by the employee’s super fund within 7 business days of payday.

In preparation, employers should review their payroll and super processes and ensure their systems are able to process super contributions each payday.

MGI Adelaide had the pleasure of hosting the 2025 MGI Leaders Conference on 20–21 November.

Maddie, Sarah and Casey from our office joined 25 delegates from MGI firms across Australia and New Zealand for two days of connection, collaboration and leadership development.

We were thrilled to welcome Angela Giacoumis and Jess Aghdam from Emotous, who led the program “The Future is Human: Leading with Courage and EQ.”

Delegates also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at iTL on Thursday evening, providing a relaxed opportunity to connect and strengthen relationships that will continue to grow well into the future.

On Friday 31 October, we hosted our final Success Her Way event for 2025, “Confident Connections: Transform How You Network.” ✨

We were joined by Angela Giacoumis from Emotous, who led an engaging and insightful session on showing up with confidence, building trust, creating authentic connections, and transforming how we think about networking.💬
