In celebration of International Women’s Day, this year in March Housing Plus’s will be hosting their inaugural cocktail fundraising evening - Dig Deep for The Orchard 🌸

IEC ADVISORY ACCOUNTING CADETSHIP

If you are interested in accounting this is a great opportunity to start of your career, as we are seeking a new accounting cadet team member to join our firm!
Currently IEC Advisory provides services to a variety of business clients in Central & Western NSW, covering the Orana Region and also large portions of the Central West Region.

The Cadet Accountant role is an entry level role for students currently or soon to be undertaking a Bachelor level study, majoring in accounting. The role will provide exposure to all areas of our team and will support the development through practical hands-on work with growing responsibilities as the cadet gains experience.
The day-to-day work of the Cadet Accountant will include work across all areas of the firm; introduction to client service & administration, accounts payable and receivable, general accounting, taxation, asset register and other project work.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or administration (accounting or non-accounting related) is highly desirable but not essential
- Completed your HSC
- Proven academic achievement via transcripts
- Intention to study a single major degree in accounting, commerce or business (accounting major) which allows you to be eligible to study the CA program
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident
