It is now People's Choice time. As you all know by now, DeeCees are finalists in two categories in the Gympie Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. I have put the link in below if anyone wants to vote. I have also put in a file that has a QR code if that works better for you.

🥳 Well… we have some very exciting news!

DeeCees Tax & Accounting has been named a FINALIST in not one, but TWO categories in the 2026 Gympie Business Awards!

🏆 Professional Services
🏆 Community Contribution

Both categories mean a lot to us for different reasons.

Professional Services recognises what we work hard to do every day — provide knowledgeable, practical and approachable support to our clients.

Community Contribution is particularly special because being part of our community and finding ways to give back has been part of DeeCees from the beginning.

I am incredibly proud of our little team and very grateful to our clients and community who continue to support us, recommend us and trust us.

Next step is an interview with the judging panel next week. No pressure! 😂

Whatever happens from here, being recognised as a finalist in both of these categories is something we are very proud of.

Building Confidence. Supporting Community.

WOW DeeCees has been nominated for 4 awards in the Gympie Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

1. Micro Business
2. Professional Services
3. Community Contribution and
4. Donna personally for Customer Hero

I think the one that makes me the most happy is the community Contribution. We try to engage with the community and run the charity trivia etc, however we don't do it for recognition. That being said it is nice when someone thinks of us and appreciates what we do. We love this little community we live in.

Even if we don't win we are still winners and so are the charities that benefit from the charity trivia.

Thank you to each and every one of you.

Anyone that knows Donna, knows she hates the cold, however the one thing she likes about winter is being able to wear jackets again. Here is what she has been sporting this past week.
