Green Bean Accountants

A light has gone out in the Green Bean family.

After being diagnosed only earlier this year, Fredrik, the much loved and adored husband of Teresia, and very well know member of our local community, has passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.

We are devastated by this turn of events. Only a couple of weeks ago things still seemed hopeful. There were treatments, options, there was still TIME.

Fredrik was integral to the success of Green Bean. Whether he was helping with physical tasks like keeping Teresia fed during the long hours of tax season, or offering us support with a friendly joke or a chat. We are all grateful to have spent time with Fredrik and had the privilege to call him a friend.

Lots of people will know him from the Coolbellup library - you always knew you could find him there and that he would go above and beyond to help you.

Our hearts go out to his family, friends, library colleagues, and everyone who knew him and loved him, as we did.

Fredrik was kind, funny, generous, cheeky, and adventurous and we will miss him deeply.

Green Bean Accountants + PC Computing = Tech Success!

Big thanks to Kris Worley at PC Computing. Not only did he deliver cake to our office today, but he has been very patiently advising us with options for our new telephone system.

We have had a lot of questions to ask, so it feels a bit like we should have sent him cake instead.

We are looking forward to answering phone calls with our new system very soon!

Story dogs and their handlers are trained to help emergent readers across Australia. Their visits to primary schools help students to build confidence and literacy skills whilst reading out loud to a furry companion.

This week our sponsor dog Ruby and her handler Cheryl stopped by the office to meet us. Ruby has such a lovely temperament, it was very clear to see why children must adore reading to her.
