Small Business Tax Depreciation
June is the best month of the year to purchase assets for a Small Business. Retailers want to maximise their sales for the financial year therefore they offer healthy discounts. Plus the Small Business can claim an immediate depreciation of 15% in this financial year and 30% depreciation in the following financial year for assets costing more than $20,000 and an immediate write off for assets costing less than $20,000.
