Statement by the Monetary Policy Board: Monetary Policy Decision | Media Releases At its meeting today, the Board decided to increase the cash rate target by 25 basis points to 4.35 per cent.
It's hard to predict where official interest rate is heading but the chance of another rate hike seems high in the upcoming RBA May meeting. It's time to review your borrowing arrangement whether it's non tax deductible or tax deductible debts if you have any.
