WE'RE HIRING: Intermediate to Senior Accountant
Full-time | Cannington, Perth WA | 3+ years accounting practice experience

Universal Business Group (est. 2009) is one of Perth's fastest-growing accounting firms. Join our team of growing accountants looking after individuals, SMEs, trusts, companies and SMSFs, with the support, variety and pathway to take your career further.

Your role:
• Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
• Prepare annual financial statements and workpapers
• Review financial statements prepared by the team
• Review bookkeeping, BAS and reconciliations
• Tax review and quality control before lodgement
• Lead client meetings and discussions
• Provide practical tax advice to clients
• Train, mentor and review junior team members

About you:
• Minimum 3 years in an Australian accounting practice (business services)
• Strong Australian tax and compliance knowledge
• CA / CPA qualified or progressing (highly regarded)
• HandiSoft experience a strong advantage; Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
• Comfortable with regular client interaction and client meetings
• Multilingual? Speaking another language is an advantage
• Full Australian work rights
