🤔 Thinking of giving your super fund a boost by making personal contributions? You may be able to claim a tax deduction!

But before you do, it’s important to make sure:
✔️ you meet the age requirements
✔️ you give your fund a notice of intent to claim, and
✔️ your fund has validated your notice of intent and sent you an acknowledgement.

Just remember, you can’t claim the super contributions made by your employer!

COVID-19 tests you purchased for work purposes are now tax deductible! 🧾🧪

You can claim a deduction for any tests you paid for from 1 July 2021, as long as you:
• used the test for a work-related purpose
• had a qualifying COVID-19 test, such as a PCR test or a rapid antigen test
• have a record of your purchase
• were not reimbursed for the cost by your employer.

Employers: Did you know that the super guarantee rate is changing? 🤔

The super guarantee rate increased from 9.5% to 10% on 1 July 2021. Make sure:
✔️ your payroll and accounting systems are updated for the rate increase
✔️ salary and wage payments made on or after 1 July apply the minimum super guarantee rate of 10%
