i am always amazed how many people do not realise if they have a superannuation account, if they die and their money is left to their adult children there is a potential death tax on those moneys. Talk to your financial planner and see if you can do something to minimise the tax your children or estate will pay. Why should the government get your hard earned money. When you attend the Palm Cove Markets little do you know the benefit of you shopping and enjoying your Sunday morning out. Profits raised by the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise allow us to donate to worthy causes in the community. Recently we were able to provide $5,000 to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation to help replace tables and chairs at Sea Breeze Café at Cairns Hospital. Great to see the facilities are now better utilised by visitors to the hospital as well as the doctors and nurses when they take a much needed break. Great article in the Cairns Local News.
