There is something about the start of Spring that makes it feel like a good time to take stock, clear out the cobwebs and think about what’s next.
Our latest Leora Wealth newsletter is now available. This edition includes a few topics that are particularly relevant if you are starting to think about retirement or simply getting your financial affairs in order.
We take a look at:
💡Transition to Retirement. How a TTR may help you gradually reduce your working hours, maintain your lifestyle and potentially make more of your super in the years leading up to retirement, in a tax effective way.
💡Your Estate Plan. An important reminder that your super doesn’t automatically form part of your Will, and why keeping your beneficiary nominations and estate plans up to date matters.
💡And something a little different – why stepping outside our comfort zone and continuing to learn, try new things and challenge ourselves can be so important as we get older.
A good financial plan isn’t just about numbers. It’s about having a plan that gives you the confidence & flexibility to enjoy the next chapter of your life.
Hope you enjoy our Spring newsletter here:

Every day I hear worries about money in retirement.
How much do I need? How long will it last? Can I afford to...? What if markets fall? I don't want to feel locked in.
Understanding how your income works when you retire brings real relief — and the confidence to actually enjoy the years you've worked so hard for. It is a big change when the paycheck stops coming, not only financially, but also emotionally.
I'm passionate about helping people work through exactly this. When you understand how your income works, those worries start to ease. You'll know you're going to be okay — and that you can enjoy this next chapter.
Give us a call on (07) 3379 9901, or send me a message — happy to talk through what your retirement income could look like.
I'm thinking about running a short session on retirement income for anyone who might find it useful — comment below or send me a message if it is something you might like to know more about.

Life doesn't stand still — and neither should your insurance.
A new job, a growing family, a bigger mortgage, a pay rise. Each of these can quietly leave you under-insured or, just as easily, paying for protection you no longer need.
A quick yearly check-in means your policy is working for the life you're actually living — not the one you had when you first took it out. When did you last review yours? Contact us to arrange a 15 minute call with one of our insurance specialists for a quick check on your cover (07) 3379 9901. General information only.

Super changed on 1 July — and mostly in your favour.
Employers now pay super on payday rather than quarterly, contribution caps have gone up, and more can be moved into the tax-free retirement phase.
A few of the changes are worth a closer look if you're approaching retirement, have had a high-income year, or have savings sitting outside super.
We've pulled it all together in a short read 👇 Happy to talk it through if anything raises a question for you. General advice only.

Hello, I’m Danielle — Founder and Director of Leora Wealth.
I started Leora Wealth with a simple purpose: to help people feel more confident about their money, their future and the decisions they make along the way.
I know financial advice can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my approach is clear, personal and education-focused. My goal is to make sure you understand your options, feel supported through the process and have advice that is tailored to your goals, circumstances and stage of life.
At Leora Wealth, I help clients with retirement planning, personal insurance, superannuation & investments. I am a strong believer in personal risk insurance - protecting your income and assets against unexpected illness or injury is a key part to any financial plan. Over the past 10 years, more than $16 million in insurance claims has been paid to my clients — a reminder of just how important the right advice can be when life takes an unexpected turn.
Outside of work, I’m a busy mum to three daughters and two spirited French bulldogs. Creating meaningful change through my work, while being present for my family, is a big part of why I love what I do.
Whether you’re planning for retirement, rebuilding after a life change, wanting to feel more in control of your finances or simply unsure where to start, I’d love to help you feel clearer and more confident about your next steps. It's never too early or too late to start.
I look forward to meeting you.
