The 2026 Australian reporting season has delivered a mixed set of results, with some sectors showing renewed strength while others face growing pressure.
In the latest episode of Making Cents of it All, Kenneth Beanland and Louis Dooley look at what company earnings, margins and FY27 guidance are revealing about the outlook for investors.
They discuss the rebound in healthcare, continued strength across parts of resources, pressure on financials, property and discretionary retail, and why market reactions to company results are becoming increasingly pronounced.
They also share how they are assessing opportunities that emerge after companies report and where they remain selective.
