Good season. Strong prices. Land worth more than ever. So why does passing the farm on feel harder than ever?
For many Australian farming families, rising land values have turned the farm into their biggest wealth asset - and that changes everything about succession. In his latest piece, Rohan Dunsdon shares why the smartest families start the conversation early, the creative solutions they use, and the traps that catch those who leave it too late.
If it's a chat your family keeps putting off, this is your nudge. Read more: https://www.bentleys.com.au/insights/farm-succession-planning-rising-land-values/

Bentleys Queensland is launching a new networking series: Women Shaping Industry, bringing together the women at the forefront of business in Queensland.
We’re beginning with property, construction, architecture and placemaking. Queensland is being rebuilt in front of us, and the decisions being made now will outlast the 2032 Games by decades.
We’re so pleased to be hosting Dr Kate Meyrick from Urbis, who has spent over 25 years shaping precincts around the world, and Amie Edser from Populous, who has led major stadium and precinct projects across Asia-Pacific, from Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium to Brisbane’s own 2032 Olympic precinct planning. Our own Jodi Lupton joins them, bringing decades of financial advisory expertise to the property industry, and Kendall Gilding will keep the conversation moving.
Come for lunch and good conversation, while you build your network in the industry. We’d love to see you there.
Registrations are open now. Link in bio.

We are delighted to welcome Glenn to Bentleys Queensland as a Tax and Advisory Partner.
Glenn joins us with more than 25 years' experience advising mid-market and large multinational businesses, including over a decade as a Tax Advisory Partner in an international Big 4 firm.
Glenn’s appointment further strengthens the depth of our practice and enhances our ability to support clients navigating increasingly complex business and tax environments, bringing that depth of experience to a firm that's genuinely built around its clients, not just its size.
At Bentleys, we take pride in building strong, trusted relationships and delivering advice that is practical, timely and tailored to our clients' needs. Glenn’s experience and approach align closely with this commitment.
We look forward to the value Glenn will bring to both our clients and our broader team.

Celebrating Ben Cameron’s leadership at Bentleys Queensland
After 17 years with his remarkable tenure as Managing Partner of Bentleys Queensland, Ben Cameron has decided to step back from the role and hand the baton on to the next generation of leaders.
Since first being elected in 2009, Ben has led the firm through a period of significant growth, change and investment. Under his extraordinary leadership, Bentleys Queensland has grown three-fold, broadened its service offering and strengthened the systems, technology and infrastructure that support our people and clients.
Just as importantly, Ben has been a strong custodian of our culture. He has consistently encouraged us to stay curious, keep learning, communicate clearly, explain complexity simply and treat people with respect.
Those lessons will continue to shape the way we work with clients, colleagues and the broader Bentleys community.
While this marks the end of Ben’s tenure as Managing Partner, we are pleased that he will continue as a Partner in our Business Services team. His experience, counsel and ongoing contribution will continue to be highly valued.
On behalf of the Partners, team members and many people who have benefited from Ben’s leadership, thank you for your service, energy, humour and unwavering commitment to Bentleys Queensland and congratulations on your incredible contribution as Managing Partner.
