I am deeply saddened by the passing of my former boss and mentor Joe Oram.
His guidance, wisdom, and belief in me helped shape not only my career but also the person I am today. He led by example, with integrity, kindness, and strength. Businesses and government entities who make payments to contractors may need to report these payments and lodge a Taxable payments annual report (TPAR).
Contractors can include subcontractors, consultants and independent contractors. They can operate as sole traders (individuals), companies, partnerships or trusts.
A TPAR must be lodged by 28 August each year. Please consult your Accountant if you need to lodge this report. If you do, lodge it within 28th August 2022 to avoid the administrative penalties.
