Uncertainty is part of running a business.
Policy shifts, labour pressure, margin squeeze, cash flow demands, and shifting customer expectations all land on the owner's desk. The real question is whether you are set up to take sound business decisions despite the pressures.
Business owners who navigate this well tend to know what their numbers are saying and which decisions will strengthen the business over time.
That's where financial advice and coaching can work together.
We’ve discussed what business owners should be considering in our blog: https://4front.net.au/business-consulting/navigating-uncertainty-finding-opportunity-in-challenge/

Scam letters and emails are getting harder to spot. We’ve recently seen examples of communications claiming to be from ASIC and requesting payment. At first glance, they can look legitimate, with official-looking logos and contact details. Before you pay, click, or share details, pause and check. ASIC communications should come from an .gov.au email address, and you can contact ASIC directly to verify anything you are unsure about.
If something feels off, do not rely on the details in the message. Contact ASIC directly or speak with your 4Front Adviser. A few minutes of checking can prevent a much bigger problem. Read more here: https://4front.net.au/business-consulting/scam-awareness/

To claim a tax deduction, you need to submit a Notice of Intent to Claim form to your super fund and receive acknowledgement before lodging your 2025 tax return, or by 30 June 2026, whichever comes first.
Most funds allow you to complete this online through your member portal. For more information, please refer to our recent blog post: https://4front.net.au/business-consulting/super-contributions-tax-deduction-2025/
If you made personal super contributions and are not sure whether everything has been completed correctly, contact the 4Front team.
