We’re looking for a practical, organised and creative marketing all-rounder to help bring our marketing strategy to life across content, digital marketing, campaigns, events, sponsorships and community engagement.

It’s a varied role with plenty of opportunity to contribute your ideas, work with people across the firm and build connections with the local businesses, organisations and community groups we’re proud to support.

Based in Bendigo, the role is available from 0.8 FTE to full-time, with flexibility around days and hours.

From comfy clothes to bags full of groceries for Bendigo Foodshare!

The funds raised by our team during our recent WFH at Work Day have been used to purchase groceries for Bendigo Foodshare, supporting their work to provide food relief for those in need.

Today marks the final day of Bendigo Foodshare’s Winter Food Drive, which set a goal of collecting 5,000kg of donated food to help keep their shelves stocked and meet demand across our community.

While the Winter Food Drive may be wrapping up, the need for food relief continues year-round. Every donation makes a difference, and there are plenty of ways to continue supporting Bendigo Foodshare and the important work they do across our region!

A big thank you to our team for getting behind the cause and helping turn our WFH at Work Day into practical support for our region.

Our team is taking working from home to the office today, all for a great cause!

For our WFH at Work Day, the team has swapped their usual workwear for hoodies, active (and non-active!) wear, Uggs and plenty of comfy favourites, while raising funds for Bendigo Foodshare’s Winter Food Drive.

All donations will go towards purchasing groceries for Bendigo Foodshare, helping to stock the shelves and support people in our local community this winter.

And, of course, no dress-up day is complete without a winner. Congratulations to Dennis, who has taken out the title of best dressed and truly embraced the WFH brief!

The Winter Food Drive is on now, and you can get involved too. Next time you’re at the supermarket, consider adding a few extra items to your trolley and dropping them into a Bendigo Foodshare donation bin.

It was great to welcome Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) CEO Ainslie van Onselen and colleagues from the CA ANZ team to AFS this week.

We enjoyed the opportunity to chat about the future of the accounting profession, the challenges and opportunities facing firms, and how we can continue to build capability and support high-quality outcomes for clients.

AFS Partner, Jacob Lea presented to the McKean McGregor Real Estate sales team on Tuesday. Jacob provided an update on the Federal Budget and the expected impacts on the property market, investor behaviour and investment strategies.

The session explored the practical implications of the legislated reforms, including ownership structure considerations, negative gearing and capital gains tax changes.

We're excited to celebrate the next step in the careers of five outstanding team members who have been promoted to Senior roles.

Congratulations to Jack and Meg, who have been promoted to Senior Accountants in our Business Services team, and to Andrew, Eden and Jazz, who have been promoted to Senior Auditors in our Audit and Assurance team.
