Whilst it was a few weeks back now, the annual “Let’s Be There” event was a fantastic and important reminder of something we should never take for granted.

Everyone faces challenges, many of which sit beneath the surface, particularly when it comes to mental health. Events like this help create awareness, encourage conversations and, most importantly, remind people that they don’t have to face things alone.

Hearing guest speaker Luke Bateman share his journey through elite sport, addiction, injury, recovery, identity and the challenges he faces today was both powerful and thought-provoking. His story highlighted just how much can be going on beneath the surface, even when things may not appear that way from the outside.

It was a great reminder to check in with the people around us — and, equally importantly, to check in with ourselves.

A moment worth reflecting on and celebrating.
We were incredibly honoured to be named a finalist in the MFAA 2026 VIC/TAS State Excellence Awards for Diversified Business.
While we didn’t take home the award, it was a privilege to be recognised alongside such outstanding finalists within our industry. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, we are unable to attend today’s national conference and awards ceremony, but we wish all state winners the very best and congratulate our VIC/TAS state winner, Entourage, as they represent our region on the national stage.
As a boutique family business, we are incredibly proud to once again be recognised in these prestigious awards. Ten years after winning this category, we were hoping the stars might align again, however being named a finalist is an achievement we are truly grateful for.
