In a CPD session led by our very own Lakshan Rajakumar and Vikram Anand, Directors at Zinu Capital, we explored what happens on the other side of a lending application.

A few key takeaways:
• Income is only part of the picture. Lenders also consider what a client could owe
• Small financial commitments can have a big impact on borrowing capacity.
•Presentation matters. How financials are structured and explained can influence the lending process.

Following our Sydney and Philippines kickoffs, Teams India and Sri Lanka brought energy, sharp thinking, and an incredible team spirit to the latest MGAA retreats.

From museums and escape rooms in India to badminton and the beach in Sri Lanka, the teams stepped away from their desks to connect, recharge, and put some everyday workplace strengths into action.

•𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲: A last-minute schedule change put Team India to the test and showed what clear roles and teamwork can achieve.

A few things we took away:

•𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 — the kind you remember longer than any workday.
•𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 — watching it click during the games was the best part.
•𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 — the whole weekend was planned and run by the team, for the team.
•𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 — every challenge was played to win.
•𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 — and a lot of respect gained.
•𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆, 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀 — we did both, and loved both.
•𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿— every single time.

Another successful Darwin trip wrapped up!

Manu and Yashi have returned to Sydney after meeting with valued Northern Territory clients, primarily medical professionals and medical practice owners, for Tax Planning discussions.
