Perks recently welcomed accounting, business and commerce students to Perks & Possibilities: For What Comes Next, in partnership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). The session gave students the opportunity to hear from our Team Members at different stages of their careers, sharing personal insights into life at Perks and the journeys that brought them here. It was great to see conversations continue well beyond the panel discussion, with students asking meaningful questions and connecting with our Team.

Perks recently hosted our bi-annual information session with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) for our Graduate and Undergraduate cohort. The session provided our Early Career Team Members with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the CA Program, explore the pathways available to them, and ask questions about the journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Perks Team Members recently came together for Cultural Awareness Training with Renee Andrew, Director of Arraru Yakka Cultural Capability Training and a Proud Adnyamathanha / Kuyani woman from the Northern Flinders Ranges. This training is delivered annually through our longstanding partnership with Arraru Yakka as part of our ongoing learning and development program.

The session provided an opportunity for our Team Members to deepen their understanding of Australia’s First Nations Peoples, exploring history, culture, customs and contemporary issues affecting communities today.

The training was commended by all attendees. Thank you to Renee for sharing her knowledge, experiences and insights with our Team.
