On Saturday, Kristen and Karuna attended the KI Cup and had a fantastic day catching up with clients and the KI community.

It was a great opportunity to connect, enjoy the atmosphere, and be part of such a vibrant local event. The KI Cup always brings people together, and it was wonderful to share the day with so many familiar faces.

Payday Super Is Coming – What Employers Need to Know

From 1 July 2026, employers will be required to pay superannuation guarantee (SG) at the same time as wages, rather than quarterly. Super payments must be received by an employee’s super fund within 7 business days of each payday, with limited exceptions, such as for new employees.
This change aims to improve employees’ retirement outcomes by ensuring super is paid earlier and more consistently, while also reducing late or missed payments.

What does this mean for your business?

▪️ Quarterly super payments will no longer be allowed
▪️Payroll systems must support per-pay-run super payments
▪️Cash flow planning will need to adjust to more frequent payments
▪️The ATO will retire the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH). From 1 July 2026, SBSCH is no longer available.

For businesses using payroll software such as Xero or MYOB, most payroll setups already support Payday Super. However, it’s important to:

▪️Review your payroll settings
▪️Ensure your software plan supports these changes
▪️Consider using Auto Super to automate super payments directly from payroll

Although Payday Super doesn’t start until 2026, preparing early will make the transition much easier.

What is your role at Altitude?
“I keep running smoothly behind the scenes each day, supporting the team through general administration and office tasks, maintaining client records, managing enquiries, and preparing documents, reports, and agreements.”

What’s your favourite part about working at Altitude?
“What I love most about working at Altitude Advisory is the culture, it’s second to none! Our team makes every day enjoyable, and everyone supports one another and genuinely cares. I also really value the strong connections we build with our clients.”

If you were a car, which one would you be and why?
“If I were a car, I’d be an Alfa Romeo – stylish, passionate, and full of character! They’ve always been my favorite cars, and as an Italian, I love the heritage, flair, and emotion that comes with every Alfa.”
