After 30 September comes 30 October. If your revenue is AED 50 million or above, that is your deadline to appoint an Accredited Service Provider under Ministerial Decision 66 of 2026, with go live on 1 January 2027.
Below that threshold, your dates are 31 March 2027 and 1 July 2027. Revenue means gross income for your most recent accounting period, so check which phase you are actually in.
And the voluntary track has been open since 1 July 2026, so you can run live before the mandate hits.

The free zone 0 percent is not a status you hold. It is a test you pass every tax period.
Qualifying Income is a closed list, the de minimis allowance is 5 percent of revenue or AED 5 million whichever is lower, and failing any condition costs you the regime for that year and the four after it.
Swipe for what actually qualifies.

Excess input VAT can only be carried forward for five years from the end of the tax period in which it arose. Use it against a liability or file a refund request within that window, or the credit lapses permanently. That is cash you already paid. Pull your VAT account this month.

Three VAT errors we see repeatedly in UAE businesses.
One. Recovering input VAT on blocked items. Entertainment provided to non employees, and motor vehicles available for personal use, are not recoverable.
Two. Treating an export as zero rated without holding the evidence. Article 30 requires the goods to leave within 90 days of the date of supply, and the exporter to hold one of the specified evidence combinations, a customs declaration with commercial evidence, or a shipping certificate with official evidence. Fall short on either and the standard rate applies.
Three. Missing the reverse charge on imported services. The charge is self accounted in the return even where there is no UAE supplier invoice to prompt it.
Each of these is corrected later through a voluntary disclosure, and a disclosure made before an FTA audit notice costs materially less than one made after.

Transfer pricing is not a multinational only issue in the UAE. If your company transacts with a parent, a subsidiary, a shareholder or a family entity, arm’s length pricing and supporting documentation are expected.
Article 34 of Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 sets the arm’s length standard. Article 55 sets what you have to hold, and gives you 30 days to produce it once the FTA asks.
The time to build that file is before the return, not after a query.

We are proud to announce the launch of IRAA Properties, our new real estate advisory arm.
For years, our work across audit, tax, and advisory has rested on one principle: sound decisions come from seeing the full picture. IRAA Properties brings that same discipline to real estate, treating property as an investment decision rather than a transaction.
For investors entering the UAE, and for families building long term portfolios, it means real estate guidance and advisory expertise now sit under one roof.
