Announcement | 2026–2029 IIA Zambia Board Committees Constituted

Following a competitive call for applications inviting members to express their interest in serving on the Institute’s Board Committees, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Zambia is pleased to announce the full constitution of its 2026–2029 Board Committees.

The committees were constituted in accordance with the IIA Zambia By-laws and reflect the Institute’s commitment to inclusive member participation, professional excellence, and strong governance.

We are confident that the expertise, dedication, and leadership of the newly constituted committees will further strengthen the Institute and support the successful delivery of its strategic objectives.

We extend our sincere congratulations to all appointed committee members and express our appreciation to every member who applied and demonstrated a willingness to contribute to advancing the internal audit profession.

IIA ZAMBIA ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Zambia has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of Mr. Lubinda Namiluko as President at its Annual General Meeting held on 10th April 2026 in Livingstone.

Mr. Namiluko takes over the leadership at the helm of the Institute from the outgoing president, Mrs. Esther Haamaundu, whose tenure was marked by dedicated service to the profession.

In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Namiluko expressed deep gratitude for the trust placed in him and called on members and stakeholders to work together in shaping a stronger, more unified Institute, and a future where strong governance was not an aspiration, but a standard.
