1. Self- depreciation
I would like to do ABCD Or became XYZ but I don’t have the brains or the means , I lack the education or experience etc You murder your ambitions with your own conviction. Deliver yourself from YOU.

2. Too Comfortable with Status quo
I ll just live within my means. I am okay with what am getting or where I am. Meanwhile, you are highly indebted because of trying to look better than you can afford. Think of how to expand your means to enjoy the life you want, not cosmetic lifestyle living u in debt you can’t afford to pay. Growth is necessary in all areas

3. Parental dictation
I would want to be ABC but my parents want me to be XYZ so I must do what my parents want. What parents want is to see success in their children, so as a child explain why you prefer a different career. Chances of failing in a forced career choice are higher. Believe in your choice and have dialogue with your parents.

4. Fear of Competition
I would want to be ABCD but the field is overcrowded. It kills your desire. You are a different being, tell yourself you ll be ABCD with a difference which will make you stand out from the rest because you ll do things differently.

5. Family responsibility
I would have had ABCD or been XYZ but I can’t cause now I ve children , family responsibility hindering me. Instead let the same children and family be your motivation to figure out how to have the ABCD because it will largely benefit them too.
