A little to a day spent giving back to some very deserving four-legged friends. 🐾

Our Cape Town team spent time with the Animal Welfare Society of South Africa, meeting some of the animals in their care and donating supplies.

With the organisation treating around 4,000 animals every month, it was a reminder of just how much goes into caring for animals in need and how important community support is in helping them continue the incredible work they do.

For us, is about more than making a donation. It’s about showing up, getting involved and supporting organisations that make a real difference in our communities.

A rewarding day for our Cape Town team, and a cause we were very proud to support. 🐾💙

Spring is a beautiful reminder that what we nurture today can grow into something incredible tomorrow. 🌼

Our KZN team rolled up their sleeves for the Rise Against Hunger Africa Mandela Day meal-packing event in Durban, joining fellow volunteers in dedicating 67 minutes to packing nutritious meals for young children in local Early Childhood Development centres.

It was a rewarding day of teamwork, purpose and giving back, reminding us that when people come together, even a little time can make a meaningful difference.

We’re proud to have played our part in supporting brighter, healthier futures for children in our communities.

🥇 Gold has climbed to a three-month high, supported by a weaker US dollar, softer bond yields and renewed demand for alternative stores of value. 🇿🇦 Closer to home, the rand has strengthened, benefiting from a weaker US dollar and higher precious-metal prices, which have provided additional support to commodity-linked currencies. 🌍 Global markets remain cautious, with geopolitical tensions around Iran and the Strait of Hormuz continuing to influence sentiment. Oil prices eased on Monday as investors watched for further developments in the region.

Global markets started the week on a slightly firmer footing 📈, with global equities edging higher while oil prices remained elevated as investors continued to watch developments around the Strait of Hormuz. Markets remain sensitive to geopolitical developments and their potential impact on energy prices, inflation and global growth.

Closer to home 🇿🇦, South Africa is feeling the effects of a powerful winter weather system, with snowfall ❄️, heavy rain and damaging winds affecting parts of the country. Meanwhile, there was some positive news on the investment front, with South Africa’s recent energy mission to China attracting interest from six major Chinese energy equipment manufacturers, as the country looks to unlock further investment in its energy infrastructure.
