GTC operates a unit trust management company and is a licensed investment manager for both retirement funds and private clients. In accordance with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), GTC operates a FAIS Cat 2 license (No.731) and is a licensed Section 13B fund administrator. Assets under the management and administration of GTC, on behalf of clients, totals some R42 billion. GTC manages the affairs of over 100 000 retirement fund members - who participate in one or more of the retirement funds - involving some 350 employers, either through one of several GTC umbrella funds, or as members of a stand-alone fund. In addition, GTC consults to several thousand private clients in terms of their wealth management goals. GTC is a licensed investment manager for both retirement funds and private clients in accordance with The Financial Services Board requirements. GTC Employee Benefits Administration is a retirement fund administration business. GTC Securities and GTC Derivatives are registered members of the JSE Securities Exchange, on the equities and derivatives markets respectively.
