Last week, we had a great time connecting with students at the SCSU Fall Career Fair! Kristi was joined by Hannah, a current SCSU senior and former CDS intern, who was able to share her perspective and experience with students. We also had a fun surprise when we ran into Shelby, one of our previous summer interns! It was great to catch up and see familiar faces while meeting students interested in accounting.

Our Morris team had the chance to serve at the Morris Community Meal last night, bringing students and community members together using locally sourced food. We were grateful to be part of it—and to help serve approximately 180 people.

Thank you to Tonya for coordinating with the University of Minnesota Morris Office of Community Engagement. The meal is free and open to anyone, made possible by regional sponsors and volunteers who cook, serve, and share the meal together.

Last week, our team had a great time connecting with students at campus recruiting events at the College of Saint Benedict & St. John’s University (Numbers Night) and Minnesota State University, Mankato (Meet the Firms). Kristi, Mitch, and Crystal enjoyed meeting future accounting professionals, catching up with current and former interns, and sharing what a career at CDS can look like. Thank you to the CentraCare Foundation for a wonderful Gala last night. CDS was honored to be part of the evening and to support the important work happening through the Willmar Cancer Center—and the funds raised to help support cancer treatment right here in our community.

We’re especially proud of our Partner, Annette Benson, and her family. Annette was featured in one of the evening’s video stories, sharing her journey with breast cancer and her experience with the services she received at the Willmar Cancer Center.

In partnership with Steve Rambow of Rambow Inc., the Team Annette Fundraiser/Save the Girls initiative raised over $7,100, providing vital support to local cancer patients.
