Von Achen, venture capitalist and KPMG in Ukraine launched a unique project for Ukrainian startups and business ideas to help them raise from UAH 200 thousand to UAH 2 million investment.
During the first stage of the project over 2000 startups and business-ideas will submit their applications at www.ustartup.com.ua. Those who qualify will have an opportunity to get a free two-day workshop, powered by John Von Achen and Business Molodost Ukraine. At the next stage, participants will be asked to submit their pitch presentations, and 20 qualifying startups will have a chance to present front of investors and get funding for their projects. Great opportunity for startups and early stage companies that focus on agriculture to participate in a 3-months program. Village Capital is a Washington DC-based organization that trains and funds early-stage ventures solving major global problems in agriculture, education, energy, financial inclusion, and health. Over the course of three months, the 13 selected ventures will learn both from each other as well as experts in the industry. Entrepreneurs will challenge key assumptions they’ve made about their businesses, receive feedback from potential customers, and get access to mentorship from local business leaders and investors.
