I know I know we were off the grid most of 3rd quarter but we’re back just in time to finish out 2024!! 
 
Few dates to note:  
•10/15 — Extension filing deadline  
•File prior year returns 2021-2023 before the electronic filing window closes  
•Business owners file your BOI (Beneficial Ownership Information) Report by January 1, 2025

: 990 filers and those new to having a non-profit organization business that follow the calendar tax year established in 2023….this is for you!  
   
Form 990/990EZ is due on the 15th day of the 5th month following the end of the organization’s taxable year. For organizations on a calendar year, the Form 990 is due on May 15th of the following year. If you follow a fiscal year ending other than December, this would not apply to your organization.

Just keep in mind the most important rule about extensions: It is an extension to file, NOT an extension to pay (if you have a tax balance due).
