Taking a moment to thank our Benefits Program Manager, Joe Cusick, who recently wrapped up his time with Tulsa Responds. We want to recognize the impact of his leadership and service to our community.
Through his work leading our Benefits Enrollment Program, Tulsan families received support accessing essential benefits like SNAP, Medicaid, and child care subsidies.
We’re grateful for the care and commitment Joe brought to this work and the lasting impact he has made. We wish him all the best in what’s ahead! 💙

Five years of financial empowerment in Tulsa—and measurable impact for Tulsans.
Over the past five years, Tulsa’s Financial Empowerment Center has helped residents reduce more than $5 million in debt and increase savings by more than $2 million through free, one-on-one financial counseling.
Our Tulsa Responds financial counselors are proud to play a part in this work since Tulsa Responds also became an FEC in the fall of 2024, helping Tulsans build savings, reduce debt, strengthen credit and make informed decisions about their financial futures.
This milestone reflects the collective work and investment of the City of Tulsa, Goodwill Industries of Tulsa and our community partners committed to making financial stability more attainable for Tulsa families.

The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is a community space for families that provides resources for parents to support the social, educational and emotional needs of their children. The PRC offers services in partnership with Tulsa Responds, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive enrollment services for government benefits for low-income families.
