Three things to check before you leave today.
What's actually in the bank, not what you think is in there. What got booked or sold this week, not what almost did. One thing your best person said or dealt with that you almost missed because you were busy.
Takes five minutes. Changes how your weekend actually feels.

Vague seats attract vague people.
Post a job saying "looking for a good guy for this position," and you won't know exactly who you need or what skills actually matter. You'll just get a pile of applicants who may or may not be qualified.
Write three outcomes that person has to own in the first 90 days. Separate what they must already know from what you can teach them. Be honest about the schedule, the pay, the actual work.
The clearer the seat, the better the hire.

5 of the fastest-growing companies right now, and what each one teaches a small business owner.
A coffee franchise that scaled without a dollar of outside funding. A baby brand that won with one sharp niche. A software company that sells an exact dollar amount saved instead of a vague promise. A brand carried by a single product doing $800K a month on Amazon. A company that went from launch to a nine-figure acquisition in three years.
None of them started with a funnel. They started with something worth talking about.
Save this one.

5 signs your business valuation guy is scamming you.
They give you a number before they've seen your financials. No certifications. Can't explain their method in plain language. Won't put anything in writing. Only uses one valuation method instead of cross-checking a few.
Any one of these, walk away. A real valuation takes time and asks you more questions than it answers at first.
Save this before you ever pay someone to tell you what your business is worth.
