Anderson & Beam CPAs, AC is excited to introduce our newest accountant, Aaron Beam! 🎉

Aaron took a non traditional path to accounting, which we think makes him a uniquely qualified member of our team. Aaron grew up in Summersville, is a graduate of Nicholas County High School, and attended West Virginia University where he obtained degrees in mining engineering and geology. After college he worked as an engineer for five years before deciding to go back to school. He earned his accounting degree from Colorado State University Global Campus in 2022.

Prior to coming to Anderson & Beam, Aaron worked as the internal accountant for Adventures on the Gorge and as the finance director for the City of Summerville. Aaron plans to start studying and sit for the CPA exam in the near future.

In his free time Aaron enjoys trail running, bluegrass music, and trout fishing.

Update: we have found enough sponsors for all of our kiddos. Thank you so much, these trips are a first for many of these kids and we couldn’t make that happen without our community coming together for them! If you still wish to donate, you can for the kids to have extra spending money or you can wait as there will be other opportunities to help in the future. Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts! The kids are very excited!

We are looking for people to sponsor our kids!!! Our trip is planned for the end of July!

Congratulations to the 2026 Anderson & Beam CPAs scholarship winner, Evan Prendergast.

Evan plans to attend WVU and earn a degree in accounting to further his long term goal of getting his CPA designation.

We have no doubt Evan will do just that.
