You also don't give yourself a 1099-NEC from your own business as the owner.

The mileage deduction can be a large deduction for many small businesses. You need to keep a log in real time or very close after the trip.

There are many free smartphone apps you can use. Everlance and MileIQ are just 2 examples. You can also use a simple spreadsheet. Many bookkeeping software applications have mileage apps too.
