Happy International Accounting Day! November 10 was designated International Accounting Day after the 1494 publication date of Fra Luca Bartolomeo de Pacioli’s mathematics book Summa de arithmetica. Pacioli (pictured below) was an Italian mathematician and is considered to be the "The Father of Accounting and Bookkeeping" by many. He wrote about the double-entry bookkeeping system that was used by Italian merchants at the time. His book was used internationally as an accounting textbook up to the mid-16th century.

IRS provides tax inflation adjustments for tax year 2023 | Internal Revenue Service
IR-2022-182, October 18, 2022 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced the tax year 2023 annual inflation adjustments for more than 60 tax provisions, including the tax rate schedules and other tax changes. Revenue Procedure 2022-38 provides details about these annual adjustments.
