One of the things I think about when helping someone build a financial plan is whether their money is actually available when they need it.
Because life happens. A home repair, an unexpected expense, a job change, or even an opportunity you didn’t see coming can change the plan.
That’s where liquidity matters. Having money you can access without disrupting your long-term investments can give you room to handle the unexpected without adding unnecessary financial stress.
It’s not about keeping everything in cash. It’s about making sure your financial plan gives you flexibility when life doesn’t go exactly as expected.
That kind of flexibility is an important part of feeling confident about your financial future.
