🐾 Business Spotlight: Murphy's Paw 🐾

For Caro Short, Murphy’s Paw has been part of her life since she was a teenager. After nearly a decade of working at the downtown Pleasanton pet supply store, getting to know its customers and plenty of their four-legged family members, Caro became the business’s third owner in 2025.

Today, Caro is carrying that history forward, pairing thoughtfully selected products for dogs and cats with the personalized service that has made Murphy’s Paw a local favorite for pets and their people.

And for Caro, owning a business in the community where she grew up makes this next chapter even more meaningful.
