The Candidates Forum hosted by Shaw University was very informative and necessary.

I learned alot about Raleigh & Wake County and the what the candidates positions are when it comes to the issues and resolutions of Raleigh and Wake County.

They also opened the forum up for the audience to ask questions and the candidates weighed in on providing their responses.

I personally felt the need to attend, so I that I know who gets my vote and what positions I support.

In-person early voting period:
Starts: Thursday, Oct. 15.
Ends: 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31

Election day is November 3rd. 🗳

Do your research.
Get out.
Vote. 💪🏾

I want to thank all those who attended the Business Tax Readiness Workshop.

Since we are in quarter 4 this was a great workshop to bring awareness about what we can do before December 31st.

We discussed:
✅️ Bookkeeping & Recordkeeping Gaps
✅️ Commonly Missed Deductions
✅️ Tax Preparation vs. Tax Planning
✅️ Estimated Taxes
✅️ Year End Strategies
✅️ Following Up with An Accountant

We also had Q&A and this part was incredible because the attendees brought their questions and came ready to learn. This is my favorite part because the goal of my workshops is for people to leave confident in managing their business. One way to gain that confidence is to have your questions answered and to gain clarity on your situation.

The great thing about Q&A sessions is that it allows me to gain insight into the needs of entrepreneurs, how I can help them, and it leads me to continue to enhance and polish my services, mission & vision of my firm.

I also gave homework for the attendees so that they can attend to the areas that need review in there action plan before December 31st.
