One of the most overwhelming parts of divorce can be figuring out the financial details.

What documents will you need? What will your attorney ask for? What happens during the disclosure process? And how do you organize everything when you’re already feeling overwhelmed?

You don’t need to have all the answers right now. But having the right information can help you feel more prepared for what comes next.

That’s exactly why I’m hosting Prepared, Not Panicked, a free 45-minute live workshop on Tuesday, October 6.

I’ll walk you through what you’ll be asked to gather, how to organize it so nothing gets lost, what the disclosure process tends to look like, and what to expect as the numbers come into focus.

Camera off, so get comfortable. Questions welcome. No financial background needed.

If you’re facing divorce, or sensing one may be coming, I’d love for you to join me. And if you know someone who is, send this their way.

You might be thinking, “I know I need to get prepared, but I have no idea where to start.”

That’s completely understandable.

Divorce comes with a lot of financial questions, and most people aren’t prepared for the amount of information they’ll be asked to gather. Bank statements, tax returns, retirement accounts, property, debts, and more.

You don’t have to figure it all out at once.

In Prepared, Not Panicked, my free 45-minute live workshop on Tuesday, October 6, I’ll walk you through the financial information you’ll need, how to organize it, what the disclosure process tends to look like, and what to expect as you move forward.

My goal is simple: to help you feel more informed, more organized, and less overwhelmed by the financial side of divorce.

Camera off, so get comfortable. Questions welcome. No financial background needed.

If you’re facing divorce or sensing one may be coming, come join me and take the first step toward feeling prepared. And if you know someone who is, send this their way.

You do not owe everyone an explanation.

When you are going through this, it can feel like word travels fast and everyone has a take on what you should do next. The truth is that not everyone in your life needs to know what is happening, and not everyone who knows needs a seat at the table.

A small, trusted circle does something a wide audience cannot. It holds you steady without flooding you with conflicting opinions that make an already complex moment feel heavier.

When you build that circle with intention, think in roles. One person for honest emotional support. One who is steady and calm under pressure. One who respects your privacy without question. And the professionals who handle the financial and practical pieces so your friends do not have to play advisor.

Notice who is missing from that list. The person who loves drama. The one who tells you their cousin's divorce story every time you talk. The friend who means well but cannot hold a confidence. Keeping the circle small is not cold. It is how you protect your energy for the decisions that actually matter.

This is the kind of quiet, private support we believe in at Bloom, a process that respects your dignity instead of inviting the whole world in.

Your spouse handled the finances for years. You have about 30 days to understand them. Start with three documents.

Your spouse may have handled the finances. Now it is time to understand them for yourself, and the clock starts early: financial disclosures are due within weeks of a case starting. You do not need to become an expert by then. You need the right documents in one place.

Comment VAULT and I will send you the one-page list of the three documents almost everyone forgets, free.

There are three documents almost every divorcing spouse forgets to gather, and the attorney bills to chase each one.

Not because they are hidden. Because nobody tells you to ask for them, and the summary version looks like enough until your attorney's office has to go back for the full one, at their hourly rate.

Comment VAULT and I will send you the one-page list, with the exact words to ask for each, free.

Most people walk into the first attorney meeting with loose papers and a lot of questions.

The office then spends billable hours requesting statements, calling HR, and asking the plan administrator for documents you could have pulled in an afternoon.

That money should go to the decisions that actually need a lawyer.

Comment VAULT and I will send you the one-page list of the three documents almost everyone forgets, free.
