Today is International Day of Charity❤️

For individuals age 70½ and older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) can be a tax-efficient way to support the causes they care about. A QCD allows eligible IRA owners to donate directly from their IRA to a qualified charity, and the distribution may be excluded from taxable income.

For those who are required to take Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a QCD can also help satisfy some or all of that obligation while supporting organizations that make a difference in our communities.
