Classes may be wrapped, but there’s still Extra Credit to be had, grads. 🎓
Study up on these two education credits that you may qualify for:

➡️ The American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC):
If you're paying for higher education, this can help put money back in your pocket. It's designed for students working toward a degree and can provide up to $2,500 per student each year for expenses like tuition, fees, and required course materials. The credit is typically available during a student's first four years of college, and a portion of it may be refundable—meaning you could get money back even if you don't owe taxes.

➡️ Lifetime Learning Credit:
For students beyond their first four years—or anyone taking classes to earn a graduate degree, build professional skills, or continue their education. While it offers a smaller benefit of up to $2,000 per tax return, there's no limit to how many years you can claim it.

Together, these credits can help make education more affordable, whether you're just starting college or investing in learning later in life.

we are NOT missing out on free college money this year 💻👀💅

Filling out the FAFSA is how colleges figure out how much money you can get — we’re talking free money (grants + scholarships), work-study gigs, AND loans if you need them.

Oh, and heads up: you gotta reapply every year. Don’t sleep on it!
