So the IRS has finally, finally released refunds for taxpayers with Earned Income Credit and/or Child Tax Credits. A record number of refunds will be received today. Some taxpayers have waited as long as a full month. You may check "where's my refund" to see your federal tax return status or, if your taxperson is as efficient and competent as JNB TaxPros, give them a call and get all your updated information and statuses. If they are not, maybe it's time to switch to JNB TaxPros. 347-944-5621.

IRS Announces 2017 Filing Season Opens January 23, Reminds Taxpayers About Delayed Refunds The Internal Revenue Service has announced that tax season will open on Monday, January 23, 2017. The IRS will begin accepting electronic tax returns that day, with more than 153 million individual tax returns expected to be filed in 2017.

Question of the week: Can I file my taxes with my last pay stub?
Answer: It is against IRS e-file rules to file an early tax return without a W2.
We, at JNB, can estimate your refund and input all pertinent info into our system but, we will not submit any return for e-filing until the W2's are received.
