U.S. NYC labor unions are bullsh*t . You can't get in unless you grease someones palms. They are never late collecting union dues.
citizens ,skilled laborers ,black men and women from ages 35 to 50 are being discriminated against and are being blocked from the job market goes undetected. If you manage to get in you'll find no real work stability as a person of color. The timeline of the jobs they secure are always short. Nepotism is a common practice within unions so long term contracts that provide decent salaries are hand p
icked for the friends and family of union leaders. Contracted projects that are federally funded usually have stipulations in place to employ Blacks and Hispanics at every construction project. Instead of complying with the federal guidelines they bounce workers from site to site to reflect compliance on paper. Many unions leaders are extorting money, in turn a blind eye at the practice of hiring illegal and undocumented immigrants. In NYC areas of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island on any given day you can find large groups of illegal immigrants gathering at gas stations, lumber companies and home depots awaiting to be collected by subcontractors who aim is to exploit their labor by paying in cash below the minimum wage standard. This is in direct violation of payroll compliance and federal tax laws. These illegal workers often work in dangerous and unsafe environments outside of their unlicensed field of occupation. As a result, this illegal activity has closed the doors of employment on natural born citizens who meet all qualifications and are taxpayers. After observing this type of practice for several years I decided to work with labor coalitions to combat this type of thing. I later discovered that the coalitions were just as corrupt as the unions.
