Louisa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2007 she dedicated the rest of her life to making sure other women knew how to protect themselves from this disease. She believed knowledge is power. We carry that sentiment with us to this day. On International Women’s Day we honor her memory.

Our sign is back up!!! It’s funny, the sign was knocked down from those awful winds. And people thought the worst! We have been here all along!

Macanta will close today and tomorrow. It is our standing policy to close when the NYC schools close due to dangerous weather conditions. If you have an appointment, we will reach out to reschedule.

Earlier today, the winds took our big green sign down. I can not let Ray try to rehang it until the weather improves.
