Please be aware that there is an income limit for child tax credit! If your income is 17,5000 as a single filer and 150,000 for married filers, credit becomes phased out for incomes over these amounts. Keep in mind that there is an income limit of 75,000 (for single filers) and 150,000 (for married filers) your child tax credit is phased out.

In 2023, child tax return will remain at $2,000 per qualifying child. As of now, the maximum refundable portion of credit for a child is adjusted for inflation and is set to be at $1,600 in 2023.
